Ranbaxy’s generic Lipitor recall in US impacts 41 lots

Ranbaxy, Inc. manufacturers a generic version of the cholesterol decreasing drug, Lipitor. In November, the company voluntarily recalled lots of Atorvastatin calcium in 10, 20, and 40 mg dosages with the expiration dates between July 2014 and August 2014 for possible ground glass contamination.
