Erbs Palsy

Erb's palsy is also known as Duchenne-Erb palsy, Duchenne-Erb paralysis, Erb paralysis, and Erb's palsy.

The most common type of brachial plexus injury is called Erb’s palsy. In Erb's palsy, the arm is internally rotated and hangs limply at the side. In most cases, Erb’s palsy will heal without treatment but approximately ten percent of cases will eventually need surgical attention.

If your baby suffers from Erb palsy and you suspect that the injury was caused by obstetric malpractice you should contact a skilled medical malpractice attorney.
